Portugal's hottest towns now get almost twice as many 35 °C days as in the 1990sIn the 1990s, no town in Portugal averaged 30 days a year above 35 °C. Between 2016 and 2025, 26 towns did, all of them in the Alentejo. We compared two decades of daily climate data for 799 towns.
